Inkmasters Print Exhibition will show at Tanks Arts Centre Cairns 25 June - 25 July 2021. It is an international juried exhibition which brings together the best printmakers from our region with national and international artists from around the world. The works entered are an exciting range of many print mediums and combinations of media, traditional and contemporary, in a range of formats including 3D works such as artists' books. 150 prints have been selected. Prizes will be awarded including an award named for Anna Eglitis, a senior Cairns artist who mentored some of the Far North’s most prolific and important artists. A public talk will be delivered prior to the launch by Henri van Noordenburg from the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art.

Adjacent to the exhibition is the work of InkFest artists in residence, Justin Majid and Francoise Lane, and Prints from the Troppo InkFest Workshops.

Judges

Henri van Noordenburg from the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art, Ashleigh Campbell Director NorthSite, Cairns, International Cairns-based artist Brian Robinson of the Maluyligal and Wuthathi peoples of the Torres Strait and Cape York Peninsula.

It is with great pleasure that InkMasters announces the award-winning works from the international biennial InkMasters Print Exhibition 2021. These works were selected by our 3 judges from over 150 short-listed works that are currently on display at Tanks Arts Centre, Cairns. Congratulations to all the artists and the following award-winners in particular:
