A beginner's guide to creative image making using the expressive and story-telling potential of linocut as a medium. Tommy, an accomplished Torres Strait Island printmaking artist and storyteller, will guide participants in creating a linocut print, and editioning their creative work on quality paper. This workshop will suit beginners as well as people with some printmaking experience who would like to extend their skills, guided by an experienced artist.

Robert 'Tommy' Pau won the 2016 Telstra Work on Paper Award as part of the Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards for his work Battle of Bikar which depicts an historical encounter between foreign sailors and the people of Erub Island in the Torres Strait.
